Trish Reyburn

Trish Reyburn is the founder and owner of Blissworks Yoga & Healing Arts in New London, Connecticut. Her own yoga journey began in 1995, when she was searching for a new direction and discovered how profoundly yoga and holistic practices could support her health.

In her teens years, Trish was diagnosed with both rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and suffered with debilitating symptoms for over a decade before finding a new way of life with yoga.

She became a certified yoga teacher through Kripalu Yoga in 2000 and opened Blissworks in 2004, creating a space where people could slow down, reconnect with themselves and explore the healing potential of body, breath and awareness. There she led Reiki and yoga teacher trainings and hosted a myriad of interesting workshops for the community.

After two decades of building a vibrant yoga community in downtown New London, Trish closed the studio in 2024 but continues to teach and share what she loves. She now brings her experience to students through a semester-long course at Mitchell College and weekly classes at the Garde Arts Center, where Blissworks found a new home.

Trish describes herself as someone who loves witnessing transformation - watching people arrive carrying the stresses of everyday life and leave feeling more grounded, present and connected with themselves. For Trish, yoga has never been just about the poses. It is an invitation to listen inward, cultivate self-awareness and discover a little more ease and possibility in everyday life.

Another current passion for Trish is helping Pattagansett Art Center (PAC) come alive. Hoping to open in 2027, PAC is adult art camp based in environmental education and personal well-being. Being a part of this community has given her real hope in a sustainable future for Southeastern, Connecticut and the world.
